It is a step down from Coby's MP565 since it lacks the LCD display and ID3 tag support that comes with the MP565.   The MP550 comes with either 1GB or 2GB of internal flash memory and utilizes USB 2.0 technology for fast file transfer.  It has an integrated Li-Ion rechargeable battery that provides up to 5 hours of audio playback per charge.  The player is available in black, red, silver, or blue and comes with stereo headphones and a USB cable.
