The Coby MP725 is a video MP3 player that features 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB of internal flash memory. The player is designed ultra-slim with a 2.4" full-color LCD display and LED-backlit touchpad controls for navigating through the files.

The player is compatible with music and videos in MP3, WMA, OGG, WMV, AVI, MPG, MP4, VOB, and FLV formats, and can also display text and photos files. The MP725 utilizes USB 2.0 technology for fast file transfer, includes an FM tuner, and supports ID3 and LRC tags for displaying track information. It also has an integrated Li-Ion rechargeable battery that provides up to 12 hours of audio playback per charge. The player is available only in black and comes with a USB cable, carrying couch, and stereo headphones. The MP725 differs from the MP715 since it has LED-backlit touchpad controls compared to the trackball controls of the MP715 and also has more battery life and is compatible with more video formats.
