There are keys for play/pause, track-skipping, menu selection and volume control. On the bottom of the device lies a proprietary USB port and reset button, while the top contains a headphone jack. Special ear buds are included that lock into the lanyard, but standard headphones can also be used. The Cowon iAudio T2 is a UMS device, meaning it works as a flash storage device, but also with Windows and Mac systems. Compatible files can be dragged and dropped from Windows Explorer or the Mac Finder without the need for additional software. The T2 is compatible with a variety of subscription music services, such as Rhapsody and Napster.
