Fujifilm HD Player HDP-L1
$60.00
Released May, 2010
The Pros:Ultra-compact form factor is a major selling point - unit is smaller than a deck of cards and very easy to store/transport. Offers reliable plug-and-play compatibility of supported content types - excellent option for camera that cannot be connected directly to TVs.
The Cons:Maximum 720p resolution is not conducive to 3D content - severely downscales quality. Lacks a dedicated file browsing interface - hinders the speed and convenience of multimedia playback. Lacks slideshow options for still photo content - may cause frustration amongst users hoping to control the time and nature of the slideshow.
The Fujifilm HD Player HDP-L1 is a 3D-capable digital photo/video player designed to accept and play content from the Finepix Real 3D W1 digital camera. It accepts W1 SD/SDHC cards and then transmits it via HDMI to any compatible 3D HDTV.

Mind you, the HDP-L1 also works with non-3D Fuji digital cameras like the FinePix F200EXR and FinePix S2000HD, although optional HD-C1/HD-S2 kits are required. The format used is 3D-AVI, and it displays at a 16:9 aspect ratio.
