The iRiver Volcano is an entry-level MP3 player that handles MP3, WMA, OGG, and ASF audio file playback. It also supports voice recording, high-speed USB 2.0 file transfers, and 7 different equalizer settings.

Signature to the Volcano is that it can be used as a USB thumb drive, in that music, text, picture, AND video files can be transferred onto the Volcano for storage. Included also is SRS WOW HD technology, allowing the Volcano to deliver fairly advanced-level audio output. It comes in three sizes (1GB/2GB/4GB) and five different colors.
