Rockbox is a free replacement firmware, designed for a wide variety of Digital Audio Players (DAPs). Many features which Rockbox supports (such as FLAC and gapless playback) are not available in the original firmware for the devices with Rockbox runs on.

In some cases using Rockbox can also increase the battery life of a player.

Please note that installing Rockbox on your DAP will most likely void it's warranty.
