It features a large size 3" WQVGA TFT LCD touch screen with a pure 16:9 widescreen ratio for video content, and is fully equipped with the EmoTure touch interface and haptic feedback (meaning it vibrates and pulses upon touch). A unique music hot key, located just beneath the touch screen, allows users to easily access their favorite music library locations instantly without scrolling through multiple menus. DNSe 3.0 sound technology ensures users hear high quality audio from any type of media; and content can even be played back through the integrated device speaker. The Samsung P3 device includes many media functions; such as video playback, audio playback, photo viewing with a special photo slideshow mode, personal voice recording, an FM radio tuner, portable storage drive support (can be used to transfer electronic files), and the device can also be paired with a Bluetooth enabled phone which then enables the users to answer the call through the built-in microphone on the P3 device. The Samsung P3 is a mere .39 inches thin and is surrounded in a die-cast metal casing that is designed to resist scratches and beatings; which most modern media players are forced to recieve while stored in a purse, pocket, or backpack. The P3 will be available in matte black or matte silver finishes; and comes in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage capacities. There is no estimated retail price as of this time; and the release date is vaguely set for the first quarter of 2009.
