The 4GB version provides enough storage space for approximately 60 hours audio, while the 8GB version can deliver up to 120 hours. Both formats feature Samsung's proprietary DNSe technology which offers a rich sound and promises a "true-to-life surround sound experience". The built-in FM tuner scans the entire FM range in under 60 seconds and automatically presets the available FM stations. The user can also adjust the sensitivity of the scanner to only preset those stations with strong receptions. Touch-sensitive LED controls only light up on the player when in use - after a period of idleness, the lights dim and the controls seemingly disappear. The YP-S3 also supports numerous file types, including MP3, WMA, and Ogg, MPEG4, SVI, JPEG, and TXT so the user can enjoy downloads of many different kinds. Available in five colors: Black, White, Red, Green, and Purple. The 4GB version retails for $79.99, while the 8GB version retails for $119.99.
