The Sansa Connect is a Wi-Fi music player by SanDisk who teamed up with Yahoo to offer a media player that syncs up with Yahoo Music and other internet radio stations. The media player can connect to any wireless network and stream music or photos.

The player also syncs up with Flickr so you can view your photos on-the-go. You can also expand the 4GB memory size with a MusicSD card.
SanDisk has been trying to get a piece of the iPod pie since the introduction of their Sansa series, although the response has been lukewarm at best. By teaming up with Yahoo, the two companies have found a way to compete against Microsoft's Zune and ostensibly, Apple's iPod. This player is very sensitive to the adoption of Wi-Fi networks so the market is currently pretty small, although this is set to grown in the next year.

quite hard for a 4 year old to operate. The button is a little difficult to push, and must be held down for a couple seconds to do anything but pause the playing

Shuffle (hold button and shake) doesn't actually choose a random track, it just skips a few (1-3?) tracks in the playlist.

It eats batteries fast, and when low acts erratically.

#sandisk_sansa_connect_4gb The "con" about it not having video playback is incorrect. They released a firmware update long ago to correct this, and you can download the video converter from SanDisk's website.

As for the Sansa, this product looks very interesting and gets a very good review on Cnet. A definite must watch item!

#sandisk_sansa_connect_4gb I've said it once, and I'll say it again. I LOVE INTERNET RADIO! It's just a matter of them not being put out of business because of new copyright legiscrapilation.
Awesome idea.
