Sony Walkman NWZ-X1061

The Sony Walkman NWZ-X1061 is a cordless MP3/MP4 player that features a 3” wide OLED touch-screen display with WQVGA resolution. The third of three Sony NWZ walkmans, the NWZ-X1061 is an upgrade from the NWZ-X1051 in that it comes with 32GB of flash memory versus 16GB.

In all other ways, however, the NWZ-X1061 is practically a duplicate of its downgraded peer. For instance, the NWZ-X1061 also sports a digital “S-Master” amplifier, digital noise canceling, a Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), and touch-panel operation with a hybrid button system. In addition, the NWZ-X1061 boasts a pair of 13.5mm EX headphones, YouTube streaming and music meta link, multi audio/video codec support for MP3/WMA/AAC/L-PCM and AVC/MPEG-4/WMV DRM, and an integrated WiFi that delivers Internet content and other services such as Podcast auto download. Slated to drop in the Summer of 2009, there is currently no set price for the Sony Walkman NWZ-X1061.
