The Viewsonic VPD400 is an ultra-affordable portable media player (PMP) designed to serve as an all-in-one solution for partaking in high-definition videos, photos, and even eBooks. It features a 4.3” display, 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a battery that can manage 6 to 12 hours of audio/visual playback.

Signature to the VPD400 is the fact that it supports a plethora of audio/video formats in 720p (with subtitles), as well as images, digital books, and the ability to record voice memos. Additional features include an AV-out port for hooking up to a television set, an included pair of earphones, and an included remote.
Additional Information
Compared to the iPod Touch (its most notable competitor), the more affordable VPD100 boasts a larger screen and an option for expandable memory, but it’s also heavier, features a lower battery life, and lacks WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
